Our Story

Osteria Procaccini was founded in 2011. The meaning of *Osteria* (O-STE-REE-AH) is a modest Italian eatery; a place where a warm welcome from the family awaits each and every guest, a place where all food is comfort food because you feel comfortable being there. Oh yea & Procaccini is just our last name. Our aim is to offer the most delicious home-style food with fresh, organic ingredients and the time-honored method of terra cotta oven cooking. We are proud of bringing something different to New Jersey by introducing artisanal pizzas, salads and specialty dishes made with passion for excellence and our most important secret ingredient: love.

OP's concept is all natural Italian food using the highest quality ingredients that are sustainable, local & organic whenever possible, like things used to be. Our passion is great food & sharing it with our extended family, YOU ALL! Our food is free of artificial preservatives, colors, sweeteners, flavors, & hydrogenated fats to promote healthier eating.

We make every effort to be environmentally friendly, operating our family business with green standards in hopes of a better environment for future generations. These standards include recycling, composting waste, cleaning with natural agents, & using paper products & supplies from 100% recycled materials. Our vision ranges from Papa Tino growing all our fruits & veggies during the Jersey growing season to using to go plasticware that is made from non-GMO vegetable starch.
